Getting Started With Invisalign®

Your Invisalign® journey starts with a free consultation with Dr. Liesen. During this visit, he will get to know you, discuss what you would like to change about your smile, and collect digital scans using our iTero® scanning system.

These scans help map out your bite and create a detailed view of your smile. From there, Dr. Liesen can talk with you about what your custom Invisalign® treatment may look like, how long treatment may take, and what to expect before getting started.

In some cases, treatment can begin the same day.

What To Expect During Treatment

Once your Invisalign® treatment begins, you will wear a series of clear aligners that are customized to your smile. Each set of aligners is designed to gently guide your teeth into a better position over time.

Because Invisalign® does not use brackets or wires, there are typically fewer adjustment-style visits than traditional braces. Our team will let you know when it is time to move to your next aligners and will monitor your progress throughout treatment.

Many Invisalign® cases take around 6 to 12 months on average, though your exact timeline will depend on your smile, bite, and treatment goals.
